Course Summary

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reforms are part of the wider packaging reforms and encompasses a range of new legislation being introduced in the UK.

The scheme requires companies to collect and report on packaging data, in the hope of delivering a more circular economy for packaging. Some of the legislation has already come into force, whilst other aspects of the EPR reforms are being phased in over the next few years.

With the packaging fees expected to come into place in October 2025, our Understanding Extended Producer Responsibilities online training focuses on how UK organisations that supply or import packaging should comply with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
