Our training course is designed to give you an update on key legislation and new powers for local authorities to tackle waste crime. This timely course provides guidance on how to investigate and prosecute cases of waste crime successfully. Learn how to use your resources efficiently and implement strategies to fight rogue operators in your area.

Our expert trainer will walk you through the available tools and powers you can use. Learn how to conduct a good investigation, gather evidence, and proceed with enforcement action where needed. Improve your understanding of key legislation to enable you to reduce waste crime in your area.

This training will cover fly tipping, householder and commercial duty of care; and how to act in each scenario, and when to escalate to other agencies. Course Leader

Sarah Bradley has over 15 years’ experience in criminal investigations and enforcement across police, local authorities, and regulatory bodies. She has most recently worked within Local Authority Environmental Crime as Team Leader and Regulatory Services Advisor. With several commendations for delivering outstanding service in tackling crime and conducting investigations, including organised crime, Sarah has a wealth of experience in investigating and getting cases to Court. Sarah has also been a tutor for new officers and holds a Level 3 qualification in Education and Training.
