Course Summary

The DfE have announced an inclusive mainstream fund (IMF) worth over £500 million per year. To make the most of the IMF and ensure you adhere to the conditions of the grant, schools must publish an inclusion strategy on their website by 31 December 2026.

Join our Developing an Inclusion Strategy for Your School online training course to gain the tools and frameworks needed to build or strengthen a whole‑school inclusion strategy. Grounded in current DfE expectations, the SEND Code of Practice and the Equality Act 2010, the day takes you from defining inclusive practice through to designing a strategy that can be implemented, monitored and evidenced.

Learn to define inclusion and explain why it matters for pupil access, participation and achievement. Identify barriers to learning, use school data to spot patterns and predictable needs, and select evidence‑based interventions that genuinely meet the needs of pupils.

By the end of the day, you will be ready to deliver and publish a robust inclusion strategy aligned with the school improvement plan, SEND Code of Practice and Ofsted framework. Understand how to engage stakeholders, set measurable priorities and embed a culture of inclusion across your school.
