Course Summary

This practical one-day course provides a structured introduction to the sustainability reporting landscape, covering the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (IFRS S1 and IFRS S2), the UK Sustainability Reporting Standards (UK SRS), the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards. You will learn to distinguish between the standards and understand the purpose of each, identify your priority reporting and disclosure areas, and develop a reporting action plan for your organisation.

Gain an update on the evolving UK regulatory framework and FCA disclosure requirements and prepare your organisation for the transition.

Attend to explore the core disclosure requirements, understand the different approaches to materiality and learn how to translate reporting expectations into an initial organisational disclosure strategy.

The course combines expert-led explanations, practical examples and a guided reporting-readiness exercise. By the end of the day, you will have a clear understanding of the reporting landscape and a practical starting point for developing or improving your organisation’s sustainability reporting approach.
