Course Summary

Employees have a right to request reasonable adjustments in the workplace of their employer and non-employed interviewees can even make requests for interviews. These requests and an employer’s obligations are set out in legislation such as the Equality Act and subsequent legislation impose further demands, all of which can be a minefield for an employer.

Our Reasonable Adjustments at Work Online Training course provides guidance on the definition of reasonable adjustments and how to establish this in your organisation. Learn the obligations from various legislation and the minimum steps to be taken including how to ‘reasonably’ consider and implement requests as well as how to decline unreasonable requests.

An employer’s duty does not stop on implementation of an adjustment; in this course we will also cover how not fall foul of obligations once established, as well as steer you to available resources to help establish, fund, execute and maintain agreed adjustments.
