The number of sexual offence cases waiting to go to court stands at an all-time high whilst only around 2.1% are estimated to lead to charges.* 

With the Government’s ambition to halve violence against women and girls and increase sentencing, improving the handling of Rape and Serious Sexual Offences (RASSO) cases and rebuilding trust in the criminal justice system is urgent.
