Event Summary

There is still time to book your place for our Closing the Gap: Pay Gap Reporting conference taking place online on Tuesday 25th November.

Large employers will be required to publish Equality Action Plans alongside annual gender pay gap data under the new Employment Rights Bill. The plans should identify the causes of pay disparities and set out evidence-based actions to address them. Furthermore, the Government recently consulted on proposals for mandatory ethnicity pay reporting and disability workforce reporting. The consultation closed on 10 June 2025, and the Government is expected to respond soon.

This will be a major change for UK employers. You will need to prepare for these changes by reviewing your current pay gap reporting processes and systems, and identifying any gaps, before they come into force, possibly in 2026.

Join us to discuss preparations for upcoming voluntary and mandatory reporting obligations. Bring your questions for our panel of experts and understand how upcoming policy changes, timelines, and targets will affect your organisation.

You will hear from Gillian Unsworth, Deputy Director, Office for Equality and Opportunity, on the key lessons from gender pay gap reporting and how these can shape effective race and disability reporting. You will hear from business leaders and employment experts including the CIPD, Lewis Silkin, FTSE Women Leaders, Ofcom,  Equality Pays, Disability@Work and Make UK. Take away best practice advice and guidance to help you understand and measure your pay gap, identify the causes, and create an action plan for your business.

Whether you’re in the public or private sector, and regardless of size, don’t miss this opportunity to prepare for changes to pay gap reporting and make meaningful progress on pay equality.
