Sara McCracken is an award-winning communications specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in different areas including environment, health, education, politics, equestrian and agri-rural businesses. She has worked in a range of businesses – a trade union, charities, political party, membership organisations and an alpaca farm.

Sara has been involved in activist campaigns including smoke free workplaces; organ donation; minimum pricing of alcohol; chest, heart and stroke illnesses; care of older people; education; children and young people; mental health; and the environment. She also co-found Women in PR Northern Ireland in 2018.

Sara led the CIPR double-award winning Revive our World campaign for RSPB NI, which resulted in climate change legislation being passed in the Northern Ireland Assembly.

Sarah Hamilton-Cardy is RSPB NI’s Head of Communications and Marketing. She specialises in strengthening businesses and organisations by improving their strategic communications, creative approach and reach across target audiences.

Sarah has over 15 years’ experience in communications, public relations, marketing and event management. She previously worked at Titanic Belfast, one of Northern Ireland’s leading visitor attractions, where she implemented a series of high profile local, national and international communications campaigns across both corporate and consumer sectors.

Known for her ‘nose for a story’, Sarah previously managed a range of consumer and corporate communications clients at an award-winning consultancy.

Her work has won nine CIPR Awards including Best Low Budget Campaign and Best Not for Profit Campaign for RSPB NI.  She has also won Best Use of Corporate Relations, Media Relations, Social Media and Photography, as well as Best Event and Publication for a range of other clients. She has served on the PRCA Committee for Northern Ireland and on the CIPR Pride judging panel for several years.

Sarah is a graduate of the Ulster University with a First Class Honours in Communications, Advertising and Marketing.
