Our practical, one-day, online course provides invaluable, expert training on Select Committees and Parliamentary Questions. We will examine the role and composition of Select Committees, and how Committees conduct inquiries. You will gain in-depth guidance for submitting written and oral evidence and key, lived insights on how to prepare for appearing as witness.

We will examine the reasons MPs ask questions; the framing of questions; and the role that questions have in holding Government to account.

Scrutiny plays a vital role in modern parliamentary systems.
