Pamela is Associate Director for Implementation and Delivery for the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education, leading on the development of Technical Qualifications for T Levels. Prior to this, she worked on a breadth of Digital and Technology Programmes within the Home Office, as well as working in strategy for the Department for Education, and in SEND at a secondary school.

Jenifer is a Director of Programmes for the Education team at the Gatsby Foundation and leads on a number of the Foundation’s programmes to support the delivery of technical education. Her interests include how local areas build coherent pathways for technical education; employer engagement; teacher education; curriculum development. Prior to joining Gatsby, Jenifer was inaugural Director of the National STEM Centre in York, which provides resources and professional development for teachers of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. She previously worked at the Centre for Innovation and Research in Science Education at the University of York, with a focus on science curriculum development. Jenifer studied Genetics & Cell Biology at the University of Manchester, completed a PGCE and taught in the North West of England. She is a governing board member for LTE Group, which includes The Manchester College.

Zac has extensive strategic leadership experience within the education sector having worked in various college senior management roles. This includes working as Assistant Principial at Gateshead College, and as Vice Principal at Derwentside College, with responsibilities that encompassed all aspects of curriculum and quality. Zac initially joined NCFE as Head of Engagement for T Levels, then was promoted to Operations Director for Technical Education. In April 2020, Zac was appointed to the role of Director of Qualifications and Assessment, in which he is responsible for overseeing the departments that: write brilliant qualifications; design cutting edge assessments; execute exhaustive quality assurance; and provide exceptional professional development to customers.

Catherine joined AoC in June 2015 after working in further education for 14 years as a teacher and manager for 14-16 partnership provision including careers, LLDD foundation programmes, English and maths and was 14-19 strategic lead. Catherine is currently working on the implications of the Sainsbury review of technical education, Skills Plan, T Levels and the T level Transition Programme and qualification reform. Her work also involves a focus on Careers information, advice and guidance and English and maths as well as working on the impact of the pandemic on qualifications.

Ian has been Principal & Chief Executive of Bedford College since 1998, having joined the College in 1996 as Finance Director. He was previously a regional Finance Director at the Further Education Funding Council and has also worked as a Director or Senior Manager in retail, electricity generation and local government in Liverpool, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Northamptonshire. He is a member of the accountancy body CIPFA, a Councillor of City & Guilds, a member of the Information Authority, and a member of the advisory board to the Skills Funding Agency. He was one of the founder members of the 157 Group and was awarded a CBE in the 2011 Queen’s Birthday Honours.

Paul is the Education and Training Foundations’ (ETF) Regional Head of Engagement for the South East, East of England and London managing at team of Relationship and Development Leads who support providers with their T Level Professional Development journeys. He joined the ETF in 2020 having previously worked for Jisc as Relationship Manager, supporting Further Education colleges and universities across the South East and London. For 5 years he worked as Events and Projects Manager for the Association of South East Colleges, overseeing all CPD events, networks and projects, before joining AoC head office as Professional Development Manager.

Jason is a Technical Advisor for Construction at City & Guilds. A role he has been undertaking since February 2020. Jason began his construction journey like most others, as an apprentice in Site Carpentry. His apprenticeship and construction career began with a local building company who mainly served a beautiful and rural part of Co. Durham known as Weardale. Following his apprenticeship Jason pursued the dream of starting his own Carpentry & Construction company serving his local area, whilst also experiencing the industry on national and international contracts including works carried across the UK, Northern Ireland, Spain and the Middle East. In 2008 Jason took the ultimate transition into education becoming an assessor at a local college. Through support and development Jason became a construction lecturer before moving into curriculum management and onto senior management, eventually leading a specialist engineering training organisation. Jason`s next opportunity saw him return to the construction education sector undertaking a head of department role for construction at Newcastle College. Following which he then joined City & Guilds. During his career in further education Jason had also worked as a consultant and quality associate for City and Guilds in roles including qualification and assessment development, external quality assurance (EQA) and as a Lead Independent End Point Assessor (LIEPA). After many years as a Quality Associate for City & Guilds, Jason then followed a long-term ambition and in February 2020 joined City and Guilds full time as a Technical Advisor for Construction and Utilities. Jason also holds several roles within professional bodies and wider organisations. He is the regional chair for the Institute of Carpenters in the North East, the regional vice chair for the British Association of Construction Heads in the North East and is also a school governor for a local primary school.

Suzanna Butler is the T Level Manager at HCUC, Harrow and Uxbridge College. HCUC is a Wave 1 provider offering 6 T Levels in September 2022.
