Event Summary

We are delighted to bring you notice of Westminster Insight’s 2022 National Apprenticeships and Traineeships Conference, taking place on Wednesday 23rd November at the Institute of Structural Engineers in Central London.

Save this date to secure your opportunity to hear from policy makers, regulators, leading employers, and apprenticeship providers.

Apprenticeships are key in national economic recovery and growth strategies. UK legislation has cemented the importance of apprenticeships through the recent passing of the Skills and Post -16 Education Act.  How can we continue to create a unified skills system which is simple to understand, that employers and learners can really trust?

Employers in eight trailblazer areas across the country have begun working with local training providers to create skills plans that align to what local communities need. With the UK green economy gaining traction, priority has shifted to green skills and training, especially in industries with skill gaps, like digital, engineering, manufacturing, and clean energy.

Accelerated apprenticeships and traineeships can capitalise on untapped skills and further expose learners to technical education routes. How do these accelerated routes fit effectively into an apprenticeship offering? How does this synergise with the current apprenticeships on offer: intermediate, advanced, higher and degree?

Never has there been a time where employers are more at the heart of the skills systems and pupils as exposed to such a wide range of career routes offered through apprenticeships and traineeships.

This November, join us at our timely, established, and highly respected, bi-annual UK Apprenticeships Conference.  Now face-to-face, you can network with colleagues, access best practice from across organisations, and question experts and specialists.
