Event Summary

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is our ability to regulate our emotions as well as recognise and understand the emotions of others. High EQ individuals form strong relationships, line manage effectively and inspire others to action.

Join Westminster Insight’s Emotional Intelligence Digital Workshop for an interactive introduction to EQ and its practical applications. The workshop is suitable for line managers, EDI leads and HR professionals from across the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Our course will explore emotional intelligence via the EISAP 2.0 model which categorises EQ as the following skills: self-awareness; self-management; social awareness; and relationship management.

The workshop will challenge and encourage an exploration of your own personal and professional experiences. You will gain an understanding of your own EQ level and develop your ability to leverage emotional intelligence within your own work.

Learn how to practically implement EQ within four core areas:

  • Equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • Recruitment selection processes
  • Line management
  • Learning and development
